Thanksgiving
Going through life, we meet a lot of people - some become our friends and some become acquaintances. And in the midst of our busy schedules, we sometimes lose touch with some of them, communication becomes less frequent, and some we just forget. But true friends will always be there. Although we may not get to speak to them everyday, the minute we do, we pick up right where we left off. As if there was never that lapse or that distance. And there are also those that we get to speak to or spend time with at least once a week. There are those friends that we lean on for support or to share our joys.
I have been blessed to have true friends, these are friends I call my chosen family. And I am even more blessed that I have true friends both here in the US and in the Phils. In light of Thanksgiving (which is in 2 days, and it looks like we’re expecting a White Thanksgiving this year), I am thankful not only for my health, family, career and sanity (always a plus!) - but I am also thankful for having such true friends.
