Love

Thursday, August 31st, 2006

Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quite understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.

Love is content with the present, it hopes for the future, and it doesn’t brood over the past. It’s the day-in and day-out chronicles of irritations, problems, compromises, small disappointments, big victories, and working toward common goals.

If you have love in your life, it can make up for a great many things that are missing. If you don’t have love in your life, no matter what else there is, it’s not enough.

"Love is not finding someone you can live with; it’s finding someone you can live without."

I’m back

Sunday, August 27th, 2006

I’m back - back at home, back at work, back to reality. One of the hardest parts of coming back from a great vacation is getting back into the swing of things. I suppose that’s what I’m trying to do right now. It’s been 3 days since we came back from our vacation and all I could think of are the days the guys and I spent away from here. We all had a great time, I had a great time. Wish I was back there again…

Vacation

Thursday, August 17th, 2006

It’s that time again - Vacation! Just @ home right now chillin’ with the guys, watching a movie and attempting to get some sleep at the same time. So far, no such luck with the sleep.  I guess we’re all just too anxious to catch our flight and get out of here already. Looking forward to a week’s worth of rest and relaxation (and a bit of partying doesn’t hurt either).

Approach Life With A Smile

Sunday, August 6th, 2006

Understand that no one is more important than you are and that no one is less important…

Understand that you are unique, and that you have a unique contribution to make to this world…

Realize that there are no mistakes in life, only lessons…

Adapt to change quickly…

See problems as challenges and press on with a smile…

Pace yourself one moment at a time…

Laugh, nurture your sense of humor…

See finish lines, rather than deadlines…

Understand that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it…

Use your imagination to come up with new possibilities…

And remember - yesterday is the past, tomorrow is the future… But…

Today is the present, open it and live it!
